Former Secretary of State and Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had high praise for President Joe Biden’s inauguration speech.
Clinton, who lost to Trump in the 2016 Presidential race told reporters “I was so relieved and grateful that we were able to celebrate the transfer of power in a peaceful way, which is now a hallmark of our country going back to George Washington.”
She continued “It really lifted my heart.”
“I just hope that this moment of unity can continue and not only among our leaders in the White House and the Congress, but among all of us,” Clinton said.
“As President Biden rightly said, each and every one of us has a role to play to try to heal our nation,” she added.
