Oakland Chinatown shop owner arrested for allegedly firing at robber outside store


A 36-year-old shop owner in Oakland was arrested and charged Monday with felony assault after intervening in a robbery. KTVU reports that the man fired four gunshots after struggling in a fight with a robber, who knocked down a woman to steal a camera in her possession. The thief then escaped into a car. No one was hurt.
