Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced he’s making a big career move on Wednesday. Fox announced that Carlson has signed a deal to move to the subscription streaming service Fox Nation.
For fans that can’t get enough of the late-night cable news star, Carlson has some good news.
Of course, Carlson won’t stop producing his primetime political opinion show. He is consistently one of the highest-rated cable news personalities in the country.
As part of the deal, Carlson will add to the current content he produces for the network. He will publish three video podcasts for the Fox Nation streaming service. The podcasts will include discussions on the country’s future and interviews with newsmakers, the company said in a press release.
He’ll also release “Tucker Carlson Original” specials once a month that will “explore a single topic in greater depth than typically done on a live television show.”
“This is my twelfth year at Fox News and I’ve never been more grateful to be here,” Carlson said in a press statement. “As other media outlets fall silent or fall in line, Fox News Media’s management has redoubled its commitment to honesty and freedom of speech.”
“I consider that heroic at a time like this,” he said.
